Our Journey
Swiglo began with a simple yet powerful vision: to combine the rich potential of agriculture with the beauty and wellness industry. Driven by a passion for both crop production and natural cosmetics, we embarked on a journey to create products that are not only effective but also sustainable and rooted in nature.We also address a growing need in the agricultural sector: reducing waste and supporting farmers.
Being inspired by the transformative power of agriculture, recognized the untapped potential in using locally grown, natural ingredients for skincare and wellness. This passion for Agricultural innovation led to the creation of Swiglo—a company committed to producing high-quality, Agricultural-based cosmetics and cultivating crops that nourish both the body and the earth And also h.elping farmers reduce agricultural waste. Many farmers were facing challenges with surplus crops that were going to waste due to poor storage or lack of market access. Swiglo saw this as an opportunity to make a difference. By working closely with local farmers, we began sourcing not only the highest-quality ingredients for our products but also helping them find a market for their surplus produce. This effort is helping reduce waste, empower farmers, and create a more sustainable agricultural ecosystem
From humble beginnings, Swiglo set out to bridge the gap between agribusiness and the beauty industry. We started with a few key ingredients: turmeric, coconut, carrot, and avocado oils, and we experimented with creating products that would nourish the skin and hair while leveraging the benefits of nature’s purest extracts. Over time, we expanded our product range, adding black soap, shea butter, car wash, and dish wash—all crafted with the finest ingredients grown on our own farms or sourced from trusted local farmers.
At the heart of Swiglo is a commitment to sustainability. We are not just a cosmetics company; we are a movement that supports eco-friendly practices and empowers local communities.
Through our training programs, we’ve provided young women, youth, and IT students from the University of Uyo and Polytechnic with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in agribusiness. We believe in the power of education and entrepreneurship, and we are passionate about creating opportunities that allow individuals to thrive, improve their economic standing, and contribute to the sustainable growth of their communities.
As we continue to grow, Swiglo remains dedicated to crafting products that are as good for the environment as they are for the people who use them.
